New Scale for Chavez Sangre

I have a Chavez Sangre flipper with the standard black G10 scale on one side. It's a really nice knife with no pizzaz. I'd like to replace the G10 with something more spectacular. The single scale is flat, no milled out areas and I can use the scale as a pattern for shape and hole location.
Any tips or recommendations on scale materials or method for creating this one off scale?
 
Looks great! Did you buy the scale somewhere? I'd love something similar for my Redencion and Liberation.
 
I bought the Raffir noble scale material and made the scale. Took a couple tries to get it perfect.
