I have been really anxious to get this scalloped LSCF scale, from Peter r, since I ordered it last week and was very happy to see that it was here waiting for me when I got home today. Peter did a great job with this one and even though it is just slightly less grippy than the stock G10 scale, it has the perfect texture to keep it from being too slippery and the Anso style scalloping adds a special touch. :D

Thanks, Peter!!

Looks BA! Do you mind sharing what it set you back?

I'm not sure if Peter would like it if I posted that info, but you could PM him and I'm sure he'd get back with you about it.....just fyi though, he is pretty busy in preparation for Blade. But, you can contact him HERE. ;)

Verrry cool scale man! I am enjoying my brown 0561 but already picturing this baby with a monkeyedge/hinderer blue scale. Enjoy the knife :)

Take a piece of 400 or higher grit sand paper and go over the scale. I did it for mine and it looks 100% more stunning and doesn't change the grip.

Thanks to a tip from KalEl, I'm sure that I'll get that copper to pop out a little more as soon as I hit it a little more with the 400 and 600 grit sandpaper.

Been absent for the past 24 hours due to losing power last night......VERY bad storms hit south Texas hard....just came back on a little while ago. :(

Well, I took some 400 grit, followed by some 600, to the scale and this thing is really shining now...pics don't do it justice. :D

Thanks for the tip, KalEl.

Dang that turned out really nice! The 560 really melds well with the LSCF [well... what doesn't? lol]. Really making me feel like this is a viable option for the future haha.

Thanks. I thought it was nice before but the higher grits really gave it a better finish.....it really does pop out now. Unfortunately, these pics were the best I could do at the moment.
