Hi all,
Received my new scales for my BM585. They are Golden Amboyna and are from Cuscadi.
Wow, they did a great job making these scales. Perfect fit and great finish.
A side benefit is the knife is lighter by 12 grams and is noticeable.
Thanks Cuscadi.

Very Nice!!! Awaiting completion and delivery of two sets of Ritter grip scales from Cuscadi....can't wait!! I'm a huge fan of both Cuscadi and Kevin Wilkins.....makes the Ritter grip absolutely outstanding!!

Those scales are fantastic! Just to think, for 3+ years after purchasing my first 585, I never even thought there was room for improvement. Effective immediately, I no longer believe that. Like grips on a 1911 pistol, I'm really impressed at how such a seemingly preceived subtle change can be so dramatic. Well Done!

Thanks for the comments.
The tactile feel of the scales is pretty cool. They are smooth but feel grippy. I don't think I'd use it for gutting a lot of fish, etc...this is now more of a gentleman's folder than a hard use knife.
I'm really pleased with these scales...unfortunately they came out so good I'm thinking about ordering another set in a bit but after seeing chester22's knife with the inlay work scales I'm starting to think of something along those lines. If I go that route I'll use these scales on my other 585...coated blade version.
