Wanted some burl but what Woodcraft had was pretty bad. So I got some Zebrawood.

Here, it's sort of a crappy 'shop, but, I don't want to make it too good, lest your motivation to make the scales dampen.

I almost posted "Man those came out great" and while I'm sure they will I just noticed the "shop" part of the post. You're off to a good start and the Zebrawood looks nice. It's not "stabilized" but they should work just fine. Waiting for "after" shots.

Godspeed with is not being stabilized, is there anything I need to do or look out for ? Will boiled linseed oil be ok or should I do Tung ? Thanks.
