new scales for my BOB knife

Still loving this knife, but decided the paracord wrap wasn't comfortable enough.
While visiting family for the holidays I took an hour out in the shop to make a set of scales out of Osage Orange with birch pins and a Danish oil finish.
next project is to make a decent set of leather pants for it. :)
The slabs were cut just under 3/8", so thickness is just over 3/4" at the widest.

Mighty nice. Solid work.

How do you like the edge on the knife? I have been thinking of getting one of these
 
I love it.
light, thin, takes a good edge and holds it.
The scandi was pretty nice, too - I just prefer flat grinds for the most part.

belt loop works really well with a double thickness 1.5".
