So last week I decided my bk7 wanted some "real" scales instead of plastic. So I went with some stabilized maple burl dyed black. I had already stripped it, but it wasn't what this knife deserved. I also wanted to complete them with as little machinery as possible, so files, sand paper etc. Didn't want to use lacquer, so I used furniture oil to bring out color and fill in what the resin didn't. Once they were done I decide to shine up the main bevel, if you will, and give the edge more convex. I know, I've been bored.
So to show how its doing I chopped what i thought was cedar at a spot we shoot targets n tanerite and it did great! ...the knife is awesome
That's all for now.lighht was crappy and so was the phone pics.
