Well they are still a work in progress needing final fitment. But I think im gonna wait until I pick up a bk9 and fit them to that instead of the bk2 I have.

As a bonus heres the scales I posted in the bk2 picture thread.

Wow!! That's beautiful! I really like the scales on that 2. What kind of wood are you using on these?

the new ones are layered maple and walnut veneered glued and pressed together. The set currently on the bk2 are solid shedua hardwood. looks great but man its harder to cut/sand. Well worth it though.

Shedua wood? Never heard of it but it sure looks good. Thanks for the response & welcome to the forum.

I work in a cabinetry shop. Every once in a while we get some more exotic woods in for special order jobs. Its nice to have some variety.. Your more than welcome for the response and I hope to become a beckerhead one day. Im waitin for my birthday on may 7th to order the king. :)

I like the way the grain appears to follow the contour of the knife on the BK2. That's sweet. And the maple/walnut looks awesome!

Looks nice! What did you use to make the nut holes? I tried making those holes with a dremel and has a hell of a hard time.

for the nut holes I just drill a regular hole. I think 3/8ths if I remember correctly then using just 1 scale I tighten the nut right into the wood.until it wont pull in anymore. They dont exactly come out easy. But thats a good thing right?
