New Schrade

Just had given to me by a family member a Schrade knife.It looks almost like a Buck 110 and says Uncle Henry Schrade IB7 ( I think) It was new in the box.Any info. I would be gratefull for.Any idea of the blade steel?

My friend I probably can't help you much with dates or steel but I can tell you it's a LB7.
