Season 5 Episode 1 begins Thursday, June 14th at 10pm (EDST) on the History Channel.

Go to their website to check out the different videos about the show; Season 5 is Redemption, the runner-ups in previous seasons are back to try to win the $500K prize.

It's a great show. As much mental as physical. Looking forward to the next season.

The way to win that game is to pretend it's a permanent move, play as if you are a homesteader with no option to tap out.

It would be a sinister twist, if they waited for everybody to tap out. The way it is now, the contestants know when they are last, somebody will come to get them.

My way the winner could be last one standing a month after all others are gone.

I hope Dave is able to get food and remembers to eat this time Couldn't believe his condition the last time he competed it was a good thing they came and checked on him . Carleigh is another one I hope for but good luck to all of them cause winter in Mongolia is going to suck

Just watched the video of Carleigh's hook removal at a hospital in Mongolia; it's posted on the History Channel website.

The hook did not go through a tendon and a doctor removed it without much problem; too bad Carleigh didn't bring a multi-tool like she mentioned in the show.

Just watched it. I don't understand Sam and his obsession with attracting wolves. They know he is there but why challenge them. Does he think they will swing by sniff his ass and welcome him to Mongolia.
