Holding the knife perfectly.
The manufactures a Polish guy and treatment has been very nice.

Greetings.

Think I would be far too worried about a horizontal sheath with no retention system no matter how much tension keeps it in. Great looking sheaths though

I assure you that is strongly attached. You have to push hard to remove the lanyard.

I love the look of the sheaths, but I will not carry my sebenzas in such a sheath without a flap closure of some sort like the CRK Leather sheaths from Gfellar. I am just too afraid of loss. I would not even use this style even if vertical, but perhaps thats just me....!! But I do like the look of them.

Hello.
If someone is afraid of losing the knife you can always put the clip.

For me it is the most comfortable and discreet to wear a Large Sebenza.
The Small Sebenza pocket directly.

Thanks, I added him to my sellers and he appears to have a website in the works.

I think to pm, you have to be a paying member. It doesn't cost much and is well worth it.

Friction sheaths for knives have been around for some time and if the friction is good enough, even if carried horizontal, wont be a problem

Look here at 2:50 onwards. Even if shaking the sheath the knife does not budge. One would be surprised how stiff a knife can sit in a properly made and contoured leather sheath.

Welcome.
This is my first post, and at the beginning I would like to say hello.
I admit that I made these sheaths :)
This brown is vertical, rest horizontal.
I made a dozen sheaths for different knives, horizontal with clip and without clip.
Nobody has lost a knife so I guess take an exam.
The most important is fit sheath can not be too loose or too tight.
If you want I show all the pictures of these sheaths for Sebenza.
If you have any questions I will gladly answer.
I'm glad I signed up for this fantastic forum and I hope that I will be a frequent visitor here.
