So like a child on Christmas at dawn I tore into the coveted triangle box not sure what to expect when I got to the middle. Inside was a 14 inch 17 ounce Seax by Lachu but what the heck did that mean right?? Well once I opened up that bad boy I couldn't help but whimper a bit... Technically a short broken back Seax with a Nepalese twist, I think, this is quite an impressive blade in the hand. For such a substantial blade I have to give props where props are due! The balance on the 9 inches of blade is perfect at just above the handle & it makes it quite light & nimble in the hand, for what at all appearances really should not. 14" blade or no my opinion is that this blade has the soul of a throwing knife. Well done Lachu!!

Helge:

Your photo isn't showing up, at least not in my browser. What I see instead is the code, including an embedded URL link to your photo.

I was able to see the photo by copying the URL and pasting it into another browser tab. It's a beautiful Seax.

Added, 20 minutes later: Still no thumbnail photo, but now the link is showing up directly so people can just click on it instead of what I wrote above.

WOW...That would make one heck of a great camp knife when packing too much weight would be a real problem... I bet that thing can still process wood for a cooking fire with ease and still do all the small knife tasks that I would ever need to do on the trail...
