Hey folks,

I just purchased a Lrg. 21 Sebenza w/tanto blade style I was going to see if anyone could give me there opinion on this style of Sebenza. This is my first CR knife so I hope I made the right choice I do like tantos so we will see. What I'm really looking for, and let me know if I'm not far off with the style I got was the Lrg. Seb w/ insigno blade style , and Idaho Made stamp (I live in Idaho) .Let me know what you think.
 
Congrats. I own a large Tanto as well and quite like it. I can`t say anything about the Insingo, but people that bought it seem to like it quite well. Personally I`m not a fan of the blade shape though.
 
I think if you like tantos then you will be very pleased with your purchase. They are very nice and well made. I personally am an insingo guy myself but I have EDC'd a large tanto and I found it very useful and well thought out. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the tanto blade just looks so agressive.:cool::thumbup::D;)
 
I like the Tanto version and I am not that big of a Tanto fan but it looks very classy. I personally love my Large Insingo with the Idaho Made stamp, it slices well and looks great. I hope you enjoy your first CRK.
 
Like many have said before, you simply can't go wrong with any CRK. I have a large and small Insingo and I love them. My next purchase will be a large 21 and then maybe the tanto. I say carry the one that makes you happy. ;)
 
Would any of you consider the insingo to be similar to a benchmade 940 in blade shape?
 
Yeah now that you mention it, it does sort of look like the 940. I really like my Insingo, it's really easy to keep very sharp.:)
 
What a coincidence. I too just bought a 21 large tanto today and it should be
arriving tomorrow. I presume you got it from Neil at True North Knives? Or did
you get it on the secondary market? I was going back and forth between getting
another micarta for the one I sold or the tanto. The tanto just caught my eye. I
like the silver accents instead of blue also. I cant wait to open the box and pull out
a brand new sebbie. Theres really nothing better than that. Being the first one to
open and close and hear that distinct "click." Also got a sage 2 coming in tomorrow
so its gonna be a titanium paradise. Get some pics up when you get it
and Ill post some too.
 
Not from TNK, but secondary market (nib though) we must have the same Ti fever because I just got a BM 790 too , and thinking about asking for a sage 2 for my b-day!
 
It's nice to find some tanto Sebenza fans out there - I've bought several of them here on the forum - N-JOY!!!!
