Ole TS/hurricane Isaac coming right at me. New large 21 might have to earn its keep beyond opening birthday gifts and cutting cardboard, in the form of helping me clean up this land and cutting my way back out to civilization. Since I live in the woods, sometimes these storms can mess up my road. Oh well, a part of me kind of enjoys it. Except for the being out of power for days and days part.
 
Yea, I was heading down to New Orleans tomorrow, Savannah GA now.

Be safe Freak. I hope you'll just need that blade for some normal stuff and the hurricane doesn't mess with you.
 
Well, wasn't much more than a glorified thunderstorm. Exept the darn thing sat on top of us and wouldnt move! Longest storm I've been through, and that's been a few now. Anyway, old sebby got to strip some wire, cut a little plastic, cut some fuel line but, thankfully, that was it. Power is back and biggest limb in yard was only 1/4" diameter lol. I would post pictures, but not much to see really. Not this time anyway, thankfully.

Lots of people in low areas having water problems though. Please keep those good wills going their way.

Good to hear all is well SVT. Power outages themselves can be miserable, but thankfully you didn't get the brunt of Isaac.

New orleans is fine. Interstate leadin in from west is flooded but thats about it. The lake is backed up, and riverseading into it are all backed up pretty good. Funny thing though, I guess the weather channel thinks people who end for themselves and prepare do not make good news. Water is starting to recede in those areas now. Just rode out to back of my property and it's underwater but it's all draining out good. That's good sign for those under water and near underwater.

News channels focus so much on the big cities that they forget the outlying areas, where the real stories are told. You can find some real Good people out there.

Should make for an interesting gator season, and interesting viewing for next seasons swamp people lol!
