I just pulled the trigger on a Large Micarta Insingo 21. I feel a rush of exhilaration and anticipation. Well thanks to those who helped me decide what to buy earlier on.
 
Congrats! I'm waiting on a new Sebenza as well. The anticipation...What ended up being the deciding factors of your purchase? Are there any other configurations you were considering?
 
I carry a small micarta insingo as my work knife. The blade design is fantastic. I have a large plain insingo I carry on the weekend (the large is too big for me to carry at work). The inlays definitely help fill the hand, and the grip is excellent.... I am sure you will enjoy your purchase
 
Nice! My next CRK is going to be an insingo. I haven't decided on which one though.

The Insingo blade so useful I love mine. I don't even have standard blade anymore.
Also, the Micarta ADDS to the comfort of the hand, gives the knife just a little extra.

You will love it! Micarta is my favorite next to the beauty of mammoth ivory. Let us know what you think of the insingo blade. I have yet to try it, but I am thinking I must since everyone here tells me to. Haha
 
Congratulations on the CRK, micarta is my favorite inlay. I have a couple with different finishes and can't bring myself to carry them. With the micarta, it's like the perfect inlay for daily use
 
Guys I received my package today by USPS priority mail. I opened it up and inside was a plain Large insingo 21. I paid 485.00 for a Micarta Insingo 21. Its rather vexing of course. I am wondering if I should just call Blade HQ up and ask for 75.00 back in my account and just keep it. I dare not touch it, carry it or open it since it needs to be returned. I kind of just want to keep it but then again I'm out 75 dollars if I do.

I'd definitely return it to BladeHQ. You paid for the Micarta and that's what you should have got. Does the birthcard say Micarta inlay?

Call them and get what you paid for, I'm sure there will be no issues except for more waiting. At this point, you don't want any undue stress. I'm sure they would credit you the difference, but then you'd have to wait on the credit to appear in your account
