New Sebenza ... but a look reminiscent of earlier designs.

Love this type of graphic design. You used to see lots of similar ones on some of the earlier produced Sebenzas. Now, they seem to be few and far in between. So glad I spotted this one. Really love how the smaller crescents change color from blue to indigo to purple, depending on how the light hits them.

Dennis, very cool design. I just have plain Sebenzas now but have thought about a unique graphic from time to time.

Thanks .... this is another of those designs I just can't stop staring at! Just something about it!

Nice sebenza. It does indeed remind one of the earlier UG designs that CRK put out. Simple, yet classy, all rolled up into one.

Very nice graphics! My only worry would be scratching the polished metal. My unique has the blasted frame, which I worry less about. I love the colors in yours, thanks for sharing!

Dennis,

Great "retro" UG, and superb photography! Congrats on a very nice find!

Intuition might say that the polished (I'll call it satin) slabs might be more susceptible to cosmetic blemishes. In reality, the opposite is true. Sandblasted finishes are much more prone to scratches/abrasions than satin finishes, and show them more readily as well. My favorite EDC of over a decade had a satin finish, and stayed looking great the whole time.

Thanks .... still loving this design. Would really be ecstatic if had a regular frame!!!

Tha's a beautiful piece d.r.h. I've seen some recent UG's appearing that do seem strangely reminiscent of Chris' early work. He did a lot of those crescents when he was still doing the graphics himself as you can see on these early birds, and blue is his preferred color according to the old DVD.

All of these have been confirmed as being Chris' handiwork. Perhaps he is back in the saddle again, so to speak, with the Unique Graphics. Who knows, but it makes interesting speculation.

Yup! And .... just like I said about the regular frame! Beautiful!
