New sebenza lanyards

So I got one of the premade lanyards with the pin from gpknives yesterday. These are made by CR and came with the CR stamped bag and everything, but I'm not sure why it they don't sell it on the website yet. Also not sure if the new knives will be shipping with these lanyards or not. I havent seen any other posts showing pictures of them yet, so heres one for you.

They supply these lanyards on some of the sebenza models. Like the
True North Knives exclusive tanto. Theres a foliage green with a silver bead
and a blue with silver bead lanyard. I also think Cutlery plaza has a dog paw
print sebenza that comes with this lanyard with paw prints on the bead.
Guess its easier to have their dealers sell them instead of doing it them
selves.

I think there's a seller on ebay who offers these by themselves. I always take it off and throw it in the box though, I hate the rattling noise it makes.

I ordered a small sebenza with bloodwood inlays directly from CRK about three weeks ago. I asked for S35V and one of the "fancy" lanyards.
Heather said, no problemo, and that the lanyards would be "officially" available soon.

I have a fairly new sebenza with the new lanyard but I did replace it with one from Plaza Cutlery that has a dog paw logo on one side and CR logo on the other.

I have bought some of the PC dog paw lanyards and the CRK Ti ring lanyards to make ID'ing specific Sebs a little easier when they're in a leather pouch. The original style is a little more functional, if you care - you can easily undo the lanyard and use it as a dummycord. The ones shown in the pics above are much shorter and would be more involved to untie and retie than the basic style.
