Hi Guys - new to the forum but have been lurking for quite awhile. So much great information and I'm more of a reader than a poster. With that said, I pulled the trigger on a Large Sebenza 21 with Bocote inlays from Knivesshipfree today! Even though it's a show piece I'm planning to carry it, use it, give it a personality and some day, hand it down to my son. I went back and forth between the regular 21s and 25s, 25 with micarta and stonewash blade, etc. etc. etc. I just feel like if I'm going to spend this much money, I want it to be a beautiful knife. The one I purchased has a knot in the wood which looks like an "eye" and it just called out to me. I can't wait for it to get here!

Anyways, I've learned a great deal reading and searching the various threads on here. Thanks for the great forum!

Don't tell Mr. Reeve that a Sebenza is a "show piece" That knife may look purdy, but she was built to work!
Nice acquisition.

Congratulations on a beautiful knife, almost looks too good to use, if I were you I'd have to get a plain jane and use the inlay for special occasions :).. Enjoy it and welcome to the addiction

It will be interesting to see how I feel about it once I get it in my hands. I could see myself changing my mind and keeping this one for special occasions and buying a different one for EDC. We'll see what happens.

I have an annual that I cannot bring myself to carry except on occasions, and a few other CRK's as well. And with this being your first sebenza, I think you'll convince yourself to get a user. Once you have it in hand, that'll be the deal breaker for it being a EDC, but I'm just saying :)

I love that knot! It looks like a T-Rex eye:thumbup::D

I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on a small plain sebenza since I got a new job. Im looking at either a sebenza or a custom. If I'm gonna spend 300+, why not spend 500+? But then again, I feel like a sebenza "completes a collection".
