About a year ago my friend showed me his Sabenza he bought. I looked at it quick and told him it was no better than my Benchmade I had. Well around a year later I was looking at Sebenza's online and started to get interested in them. He told me he had a Sebenza for sale and I figured the price was right and bought it. Man, was I initiatly wrong about them. When I had it in my hands I could see the workmanship put into it. It was the small reg. sebenza with the swedge. Well it is a week later and I received my Meteor Sebe via UPS about an hour ago, and I just ordered a classic inlay micarda with double lugs and half serrated and I already kow what I want next. I think my friend turned my into a sebenzaholic.:D

I told you you would get hooked. They are a work of art well enjoy them you will be wearing off the finish before you know it remember to give them a break and put them down once in a while....:D

Congrats! The Sebenza is one of those knives that you really have to hold and use for a little while to fully appreciate. The extra attention to detail, the high quality, etc. all become aparent when you handle it yourself. Other details become apparent later. Like the first time the knife gets really dirty and you whip out your little (included) allen wrench and disassemble it, clean it up and put it back together again. No fiddling around to center the blade or get the proper blade tension, it just goes back together with precision and works as good as when it was new. I love that!!!

Glad you haven't chosen to remain ignorant, ha. Your story reminds me of when this guy broke the tip on my Mountaineer, called it a piece of shit knife, then told me his Cutco "surgical steel" kitchen knives were of the highest quality. Moron!

I like the sebenza because of its simplicity, any moron can take apart the knife clean it put it back together and it still work like new.

Okay Ruger357...sounds like you are off to a great start. I am still in my first week of owning a Sebenza. It may be a couple of months, but I'll be getting another one too.

Congrats on your new knives.
:)

Did you at least break one of his limbs to return the favour?

Well surprisingly, the situation escalated rather quickly and I we both got very angry. He told me to get out of his house, my friend who was his roommate said he couldn't do that, so he grabbed me and tried to throw me off my seat. I turned around with my hand on my knife hilt, so he went upstairs and got a pistol. Realizing I was no longer dealing with a rational person, I left on my own. Then on my way out I cut the brake lines on his Yamaha R6. :D
