Finally ordered a large Puppy track Sebenza and now I'm like an expectant father waiting for his first child. Wondering if I did the right thing. Does anyone else get nervous after ordering a new knife?

And with a knife that nice, the anticipation would be even greater.

I've noticed my love of knives is half associated with the wait for the big brown truck. It's like a child and Santa.

The Seb in particular is my all-time favorite after 28 years of collecting production and custom knives.

I hope you enjoy it, use it hard, and keep us posted. :)

Professor.

Congradulations  Now you can start hanging out in the CRK area of bladeforums ;)

Congrats, breaking the ice is hard, you know the sebbs are not cheap but it will be you edc for ever.........

Thanks for the positive coments. Just found out the brown truck should arrive Monday. Am even thinking of asking for the day off so I can wait for the new arrival.....

I did that with my first Sebenza, when I got it I thought "I just spent $300 on a knife?" and was sort of disappointed with it, two years later after trying several different brands of knives I sold the rest to just have a couple of good users and I ordered another and don't know why I got rid of the first one after realizing how well it's made. If you don't like it use it and give it a chance. you'll probably like it.

getting your first sebbie should be a holiday, definitely take the day off.

I will indead take the day off and even though it's supposed to about 14degrees, I may even bundel up and sit on the front porch and wait for the brown truck. Yes, I'm just like a kid at Christmas.. If it were warmer I'd even conteplate sleeping on the porch Sunday night..

"Pics, or it didn't happen..."

Just kidding; but you gotta post some photos once you get it. I love those things.

thx - cpr

Congrats! I don't think I'll ever have the guts to spend that much on one knife. I know that is nothing for some of the custom stuff though.

Don't have the knife yet and haven't posted any pictures, but here's an attemp to post a picture from the sellers website. When the real one arrives, I'l post a pic of it and the dog that made me spent about an extra $150 to get the paw print graphics. If I wasn't so attached to the dog, I would have ordered a plain sebbie.
