New sharpener - New knife

I got my new Spyderco sharpmaker yesterday. I like it, I spent last night watching the video and then sharpening the somewhat dull blade on my Leatherman tool. It now shaves the hairs on my arm, never did that before, even when new. What really amazed me was that my wife, whose interest in knives is slightly less than zero, actually enjoyed watching the video. Maybe there's hope yet .....

My new knife which I designed and had made for me is finished and being shipped to me, should get it soon. I'll post some pics and some notes on why I designed it the way I did soon.
