New sharpness test? Bloody 'ell

Was looking for videos and reviews of the Fox pro hunter and stumbled across this. Has anyone else heard of or tried this? This looks insane to me.

Do it perpendicular to the paper and make a 90 degree cut and I'll be impressed.

I like to use paper towel tube, more consistent.

DAMN! That's crazy. I think I'll have to give it a go with some of my knives, I've only ever used paper and shaving to test.

physics. sure the knife has to be sharp, but you are also pushing it down, holding it to the table while you cut. its like a certain someones "free hanging rope" cuts

My favorite for larger blades is empty 20 oz and 2 liter soda bottles. Any of these are even more impressive if you can leave the bottom sitting up right on the table.
