New sheath for Dacian

I will never understand why Benchmade would sell a 300 dollar knife with such a piece of crap sheath.

I have not tried to carry mine yet, but what is wrong with the factory sheath?

In my opinion, here is where it comes up short. It is not made of any form of kydex but is made of cheap plastic and is very thick. When you put the blade in the sheath, it has to go in one particular way which is kinda tricky. The sheath sticks up more than it should meaning you can't grip the whole handle. When carrying the sheath in my pocket or in my waist I can't just pull the knife out. I must take it out and grasp the sheath in one hand and the knife handle in the other hand and jerk it hard to get it to release. It does not have anywhere to put your thumb to push the knife out. These are my observations and maybe all of them are not the same as mine was.
