I hated the stock BK16 sheath, so after much reading on this site I decided to try and make my own.

I'll be making attachments for it in the coming weeks. What do you think of my first attempt?

It looks fantastic! Be careful though, it's addicting!

New paracord survival pouch I made for this. There is about 20ft or cord all together.

Just to show about what it can hold. Mini bic in a case and altoids tin. There is still room for other things. Currently collecting items for the pouch and tin.

That's a great 1st sheath. My 16 needs some new pants soon. Still trying to decide if I should go kydex or leather. I think it might deserve a leather jacket. Seems like a gentleman's knife to me. Great work here!

Nice setup there! I've been wondering, is the 16 starting to replace the 2 as the most popular Becker?

For people who prefer cheap, the Condor leather sheath for the Kephart works nicely for the BK-16.

Thank you! As far as I can tell it is becoming more popular because of it's size. The 16 is a great blade, but I think if I were to have just one Becker in a survival situation I would have to go with the 2. Just because of it's size and strength. Don't get me wrong the 10, 16, and 9 are all in close runnings. But then again I guess they all could be! But that's just my opinion. lol

Nice, awesome for your first attempt. The paracord pouch is a great idea, did it take long to put together?

Thanks guys! I've made a few pouches in the last year. Takes about 1-2 hours from start to finish. I make my own loom for every pouch I make. This was the first one I've made for my knifes. I'm very happy with the results.

Thank you so much Mr. Becker and Tradewater! I haven't seen it done before either. Once I get my kit done I'll post more pics. I might have to post more pics of the pouch its self....
