First off I hope it's ok that I post this here. This thread isn't about a JK knife but it is about a new sheath for my JK EDC. With that said lets get to it.
Mykel saw my post about making fire in the rain and me saying Id like to get a kydex sheath made for it someday. Well he emailed me and said that he would make me one free of charge as long as I pay the shipping. Who could refuse such a generous offer?!
We hashed out the details and I sent the knife off to him. He not only included the sheath but also a firesteel loop and plate that can be attached so I can put on an ESEE pouch. He also included the hardware to mount these parts.
Here is the knife in the sheath with no attachments, nice sleek and simple setup, I like it alot.
With firesteel attached and the extras, this sheath will add alot of versatility to an already great little knife.
Showing off the retention, which is great, not too much not too little.
I am really happy with this setup, it kicks ass. I also wanted to publicly thank Mykel for the generosity he showed me, it won't be forgotten.
