Hello all,
I just finished up this sheath for my Farm Knife, It is done in 8/9oz leather, Fiebing's med brown dye and waterproofed with Montana pitch blend dressing. The leather dressing darkens it up some but still a nice rich color. This is the first time I have tried any type of grooving and texture, I really like how it came out. The Farm Knife fits like a glove.

Thanks for looking and Happy New Year

Great job on the sheath, looks very professional.
That Farm knife looks very useful,is it tempered the full length of the cutting edge or does it have a sweet spot the same as a kuk ?

First class job Pugs! I love the visible texture in the leather and the clean lines overall. Its amazing how much a decoration line scribed in the leather classes the whole job up. That sheath will last as long as the Farm Knife. Only one thing left to do; get in out in the woods and beat it up!

Thank you, The whole cutting edge is tempered but I would have to have Karda give us the answer on the sweet spot, I am only assuming that there is a sweet spot like the khuks.

And thank you Shortwinger, it is so true, the simple lines surely dress it up. The texture was very easy and came out very nice. And yes it is time to go beat it up. Thanks Again guys

Pugs, if you're not already selling, you should be. That is a first class job! It is beautiful, in a rugged, manly way;) Thanks for showing us your work and Happy New Year.
