Well spent a busy day working around the place, fixed a tractor tire, put out hay, and repaired a necklace for a friend of the wife. Handy being a jeweler some days. Even retired lol.

After I got all that out of the way I made a new sheath for my NMFSH, I went with a simple design and I will be adding some gromets for tie down points to attach it to a pack. I may make another out of kydex if I get the urge lol.

Anyways here it is.

Looks nice man, great job! I like that you took the time to add in those groves where the scales meet the leather.

Nice work!!!

Hopefully there will be a good bit of snake skin flooding the leather market courtesy of Florida.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, I'm not totally happy with it so I will probably do another version in a day or two depending on escaping any more to do lists from the wife.

Nice sheath. I am trying to decide if I want leather or Kydex. I will make a kydex no matter what but leather would be cool for this knife. I am one of the ones on the 6 to 8 week wait so I have till the first or second week in Feb to decide.

Very nice.
I am starting to warm up to Moodex :)

Great looking sheath, I especially like the barbed wire detail. Great job!

I'm thinking my next version will be more along the lines of the original rambo knife sheath, with a altoids pouch instead of a sharpening stone. I need to dig around in my pile of leather and find a thicker piece for the welt. I usually make a lot of more historically accurate western tack and working cowboy gear from spur leathers to chaps, belts, holsters and cowboy action gear.

Thanks for all the kind comments.

nice looking sheath, very clean line's. i like how it is a no frill's user.
