Although the sheath that comes with the RC-3 is more than adequate and I'm sure just perfect for jungle work, I wanted something less utilitarian looking (I know, I know, I'm a poser
).
I put a thread on Britishblades asking if someone could make me a sheath and bambi answered my call.
Sending my knife to him in The Netherlands and getting it back with its new sheath took less than 2 weeks.
I'm very happy with what he has created. A kydex liner that has been wrapped in stiffened and weather proofed leather. I think it suits the good looks and functionality of the knife perfectly.
I like to wear the knife bandoleer style under a jacket, hence the bungey cord.
Martin posted a thread in the wilderness section with some pictures of his excellent sheaths, I think there's also a link to his very interesting blog.
