Here is a new line of sheaths I've been working on for several weeks. They are meant to fill an area of lesser cost, but same quality as my custom line. The leather is the same top grain with a tannery applied interior finish that is much smoother and resists moisture wicking. They are a standard 7/8oz. leather except for the Runt pocket sheath which is 6/7oz. for a lighter pocket carry. The Runt comes with a spring steel powder coated clip positioned to let the sheath ride on the seam of the pocket. The patterns are a little deeper than my regular models which puts the handle some deeper in the sheath. This allows more models to fit and enhances the retention. There are only two colors offered and the only options will be a fire steel loop and/or dangler. These sheaths are all designed to fit a variety of Fiddleback models within a size range. Here's the spec's:

Congrats on the new line Rick -- very cool! These look like phenomenal, hard working sheathes at a great value -- nice work

Those look pretty damn good my friend and at one a hell of a price.

Thanks guys! Will, I didn't mean to step on your Flea Market sheath sale today, I hadn't looked before I poste this. Heck, those are some great Heber pieces!

Those are really nice Rick! Like the looks of that runt sheath especially. All of them are a steal at those prices given the quality of your work. Thanks for posting!

Yes, the dangler is a double snap and is removable.

4 Brn. A 4 Tan A
3 Brn. B 3 Tan B
4 Brn. C 4 Tan C

Got my model C today with dangler and firesteel loop, great work Rick. Fits my leuku nice and snug. Got here quick.

Hi Rick. Got the runt pants today and got lucky sharking the SS Black & Burgundy burlap one in today's batch. Great little sheath and a great Fri. Thanks!

Guess we just beat the Holiday mail rush, glad they both arrived safely. Necrolicious-Great catch on that runt! You had a ton of confidence in sharking one after buying the sheath first. Way to go!

I'll be posting again Monday with 10 of each model available. I would like to comment again that there is nothing "cut rate" about this line. These sheaths are cut, literally, from the same hide as the custom line. All edges are finished and hand rubbed, no short cuts taken in material or construction. My young apprentice does cut blanks and help with glue ups which frees me for the sewing and finishing. It's just a chance to offer a little back to the community.

Those are great I like them a lot. Do you have one that will fit the Spiderco Bill Moran.

Roger

Roger, that Bill Moran model by Spyderco has a 3 7/8" blade, so I think my Model B would fit it. Check with me via email at ruger315@charter.net and we can work out details. My sheaths are no questions, money back on fit and finish.

It was even more lucky that I liked both runts so that made it easier haha

Just received my sheath model B for my Spiderco Bill Moran. It fits like a glove and his beautiful workmanship. I am very very happy with this sheath. Great work Rick.
