Got my new sheaths in just over a week ago from Sagewood Gear and I must say top notch work. Brian makes an awesome sheath. I have got to give him a big thumbs up on the boards here where he's known as Goose. Thanks again Brian.
The first pic is my Bk16 that I just got and the second one is my wife's Gerber Freeman. The nice thing about the Gerber's sheath is it's got a new designed trigger release that Brian told me he come up with. You use your finger to pull it up and release it while pulling your knife out. Works pretty slick. I wish my Bk16's sheath had it on it now. I ordered the sheaths with a 3/8" firesteel loop and a small pouch. Brian was nice enough to put a small tin in each pouch also. If anybody wants more pics of the trigger opened and closed just let me know and I'll try to get some snapped and posted.

Yes we want more, bigger pics. Those are tiny pics. We need big pics. Goose does the best leather work I have ever seen.

These are a couple of up close pics of the trigger on the Freeman sheath and the next pic is of the Bk16 sheath and its retention style.

those looks awesome! Goose does great work

so in the trigger system, is that screw head acting as almost a ball detent type thing to lock the trigger in the closed position?

Yes it uses the screw as a detention ball. I think it's a simple but very clever design. Something I would probably not have thought of.

WOW!

Those sheaths are awesome. You and your wife are lucky to have those.

That new retention system is a very clever idea. Goose A+ work!
