New Sheaths New Year

With the new year I am going to start making Kydex Sheaths, I have been telling myself to do this for about a year now and so now I can start. BUT I need a name and slogan sooooooo I figure I should ask the most knowledgeable folks I know!:D

I was thinking just a "GF" on the back.....and for a Sig line "Warping the perspective of Kydex since 08"

The best slogan and "Makers Mark" will get you a free sheath for each one.

Here are the first 2 sheaths I have made.

Please comments and questions, tips and things you would like to see.
They are fitted for Large and small Tek Loks, the HOGFSH is also set for inverted carry with a small Tek-Lok. They are tension fit not friction fit.

I have a RatManDu and Basic 9 in the shoot for tomorrow:thumbup::thumbup:

Now you have to figure out the ultimate low-ride kydex for those big blades... If you're using friction fit, you'll have to figure out how to allow for a one hand draw (seems like using nylon webbing for the drop-leg attachment wouldn't work because when you draw the knife, the sheath would rise too??? Unless maybe you had the bottome of the sheath strapped pretty good around your leg?)

Anyway, I just think you have to carry the big knives on your thigh, not with a tek-lock...

And then there's the ultimate IWB sheath for the small blades, but that's a whole 'nother story... :D:D

Good luck with the venture. I agree that the bigger knives should be carried lower than most kydex sheaths on the market.

Very nice. It looks like you have spent some time learning how to make them prior to selling. I have never messed with kydex at all, but I have studied them a bit. Nice contours, nice spacing of holes and they are also drilled evenly from the edge. It also looks like you spent some time and effort on the edges and mouth of the sheath. Overall very nice work. I dont have any ideas for you on a logo or motto. Mike (Mymindisamob) really helped me out with my logo.
