So my second leather guy Brian quit making sheaths so I wanted to find someone else. I still use Carl but I wanted a different style to offer. I did a lot of searching and found some sheath images that I thought were really cool. I emailed the guy and found out he was in Portugal! Long story short, we emailed back and forth and he made up some sheaths for me. I like the pouch sheaths but I am in love with the square bottom. Really different and cool. Anyway, I will be getting them soon and wanted to introduce him to you guys. His name is Joao Grilo. He made that square bottom to fit my small Bushcrafter. There will be a strap for retention, I will place the snap so it fits right.

wow. yeah. that's pretty cool. unique. i'm a simple man though, and i'm really liking those pouch sheaths! good stuff.

loving that rig with the fire-steel carrier!
looks like good work, will be looking forward to seeing some of those filled up!

I really like the designs! And it looks like Joao has some mad leather skills. I agree with 1066vik, we need to see some of those stuffed with steel.
All the best

Those are excellent! Glad you found something unique for your knives.

Definitely like the contrast between the leather color & the stitching. And an additional bonus of putting a firesteel loop on the sheaths as well.
Another great option Chris to go along with all your great knives . . . . and VIK is right "again" as usual . . . ;)
Need to see some of those with some steel & dark grain wood sticking out of them . . . .
Be safe.
