Just got a new shirogorov hation zero. Is my first Shiro.

One thing I’m curious about though - how much of the lock bar is engaged usually? This one looks like about 5-10%. It will easily slide past 50% if I push it. Blade lockup feels good with no issues either way. I’m just used to CRKs and such with 40% or more though.

So, is this normal for these, or should I be concerned?

Seems normal. It will move in just a little as you use it. The addictive action will help with that . Congrats on your hation it’s a beautiful knaf.

I just got my HatiOn Zero in the mail today and it's the exact knife that you got. My knife, too, does exactly the same as yours, early lockup 5-10%. If I push the lock bar it will lock up about 40%. Kind of annoying, considering the price. I expected more for a high budget knife. I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this.
