Hi guys,

I just finished this short sword. It has a 16.75" forged blade of 1075 carbon steel and a 9.5" wrapped walnut cored handle. I was attempting to give it a Japanese/fantasy/end of days look, thus the harpoon tip blade and Japanese guard, seppa and modified Japanese wrap. I think I succeeded, but I'm quite interested in your thoughts. All comments are welcome and appreciated.

I think its gorgeous! Its needing an equally gorgeous sheath or scabbord now

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the kind comments. STR, I'm working on the scabbord, it's going to be a over the shoulder baldric rig.

Hello, I was wondering, did u finish the scabbard yet? I'd like to see pics when finished. You did an amazing job on this short-sword.

Afraid not, I'm still using one of my older sheaths from an earlier project. I've made this particular blade shape several times, as I just think it's a neat shape. I'm glad you like it. I'll post some pictures soon, as the new sheath will be very similiar to what I have now.
