Gents, here's a short sword I've been working on, well, off and on, for over a year. It's a W2 17" Turkish style blade with hamon, Japanese furniture, and ebony textured handle. I'm always interested in your thoughts, especially considering the unusual mixture of styles in this sword, so, let me know what ya think!

That is absolutely gorgeous.

That is one great looking piece of work. Never was much of a sword guy and finally got around to getting one this year. After seeing this one, I am thinking about another one. Never should have looked ;).

Thanks, Gus. Yes, swords can become an addition. While I make all kinds of knives, a short sword around 17-20 inches is one of my favorites to make. Just something satisfying about them.
