Can't wait to see the new 119 bowie knife. Hopefully it comes with a real satin finish instead of the matte satin like some models.:)

This knife makes my pants hard. I would definitely like to see the sheath it comes with though, as those are always a disappointment.

I really like it. Never owned a benchmade fixed blade, this may be my first 😁. Wish it was D2 instead of 154cm though.

Benchmade does their 154CM right and am a big fan. Easy to sharpen over D2 makes this choice of steel a good one.

I'd really love a LE model with CF handles and CPM-20CV

That would push me over the edge to getting one of these. Like it, but not the price. If see one at $100-$120 will be all over it. Im fine with my CSKII. Wish they would have put more color on the scales. Green/ black g10 would have been nice.

Kinda odd they used the same number designation as Buck does for one of their fixed blade knives...

I really like the look of the knife. It needs a really good sheath.

I've been bawling for a Sibert Scout over on the Benchmade forum for years, so the 119 is pretty much a dream come true for me. :)

I read something about a molded sheath. If it is similar to the one on the fixed Adamas, I'll be fine with it. The fixed Adamas sheath fits well, has minimal bulk, and very flexible wrt attachments. A good jump rated cordura sheath would be a good option too.

A 5.5 inch model based on the Scout, with no top guard, would have been my wish. That would have been a perfect large hunting/woodcraft/utility knife. Too close to the 162 Bushcrafter though, I suppose. This fighter design is pure combat utility to my eyes. Still a must have though. Outstanding choice for military users.

Benchmade posted this on their facebook page. This is their photo:

Kinda KA-Bar-ish, I like it.
Looks like a really nice design and if it had a small fuller it'd look even more like a KA-bar or an old Marbles camp knife, classic lines with a modern touch. I bet they sell a lot of these.

I'll be buying one. :)

Has anybody heard word of a release date or is this just some time in 2016?
