OK, It's sophmoric humor, but the line below by Joseph Gould had me ROTFLMAO. I just couldn't resist it any longer. No insult, slight, or anything implied or overt. Just being silly.

Carl Jung = Joseph Gould

me no get. me iz dum. :(

oh.. it works now.

me iz dum and impatient. :D

Sorry - my computer skills are self taught. Takes me a couple shots to post changes. Maybe one of these days I'll try reading the directions. But then what would I use for a vocabulary without the use of profanity?

Fire truck, ship and dayum.:)

BruiseLee, despite his averred lack of smarts, appears to be winning this exchange. Time to sneak out the back at halftime onto the big yellow bus, forfeit the game and leave while the only thing lost is my sanity. ( My dignity went a long time ago. )

1) Anything really worth doing is simple.
2) Anything simple is hard.

Rusty's corollary: If it's simple, hard, and worth doing, then you absolutely must laugh at yourself or go crazy long before you're even halfway there.

That said, it's time for my medication. Or is it my meditation? Oh, now I remember, it's meditate first and then medicate. Keep getting them mixed up.

Are you legally allowed to mediate after you medicate? Even after your meditation, I would regard your advice with hesitation.

blah blah blah...
:o

Bruise, seeing that the above was post number 1492 for you, may I suggest you visit the nearest rez next Columbus Day? ;)

uh, Yeowch. That'd be like wearing a white "ghost" costume in Harlem...out of the halloween season...

LMAO!

Not "either / or", but "both / and" is the correct answer. Probably an over-reaction to the stress of the holidays being over. Think of it as everybody resetting the cuckoo clock of the HI forum.

You go ahead and ask Ms. Ratchet ( Big Nurse ). I'll sit this one out-to-lunch!

-----------------------------------------

For further explanation read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. Made into a movie with Jack Nicholson.

Joseph Heller's Catch 22 also seems to apply to HI.

I made a new sig line too. :)

I stole it from Pema Chodron. It's in her book on the Lojong teachings.
