New sizes available - 15n20

Now that the cnc plasma is up and running we are able to cut steel much faster and accurate. We have tossed around the idea of cutting up strips at a preset size of 1.5”x6”. These would be for the Damascus makers out there. We are trying to find a way to ship large quantity’s in flat rate boxes to save money for the buyer.

Is this somthing you guys would be interested in? Or do you have any other things or sizes you would want to see?

I like 2 to 2.5 for chef's. Length in multiples of 13 inches or so for an 8 inch blade and 5 inch handle. I don't make damascus yet unfortunately, however. I'd use it just for a monosteel.

yep... 1.5" x 6" is my 'standard' billet size...

My standard size is 4" x 2" x 2" for making damascus. I tend to start out with 30+ layers and having materials precut would save me a good bit of time. 15n20, 1080/1084 and 80crv2 in .06 or thinner would be my main interest.
