Another Skyline carrier. I kept hearing y'all talk about what a great knife it was so i went and looked and it stuck to my hand. I have carried a LoneWolf T2 Ranger for years and this Skyline reminds me a little of a baby T2. Nice carry, flipper works great and a little strop got it just right. Great knife. No rust yet but i oil.

I never was able to comprehend why this was a popular knife before i held one. it had mediocre steel, a funky shape, was a bit small, hand had a really weird looking handle. little did i know what a little wonder i would get for 10 bucks at the kershaw sale....

This is probably the best USA made knife in the $30-$40 range, and that's not hype.
You get a light weight, tough folder, with a blade shape that is perfect for EDC.
Mine has Sebenza smooth deployment, no joke.

Sure it doesnt have high end steel or Ti, but let's be realistic, it's a $30-$40 knife.
Other companies have nice offerings in this price range, but are they made in the USA?

Op, congrats on your new blade!

I'm glad to hear you like it the skyline has a bright future IMO and has sort of become Kershaws flagship model.

I keep trying to rotate my Buck Vantage Avid into my EDC, but since I got the Skyline a few weeks ago the buck feels bulky and heavy. I just keep grabbing for the Skyline.

I got one just today. Already I have gained a fondness for it. I have a feeling it may become my edc for a good while. It's a bit small for my liking but seems to handle it's cutting chores just fine.

I'd love to see the Skyline made with different steels, different configurations, CB's...:D hmmmmm

One can dream.....
