I bought a Skeleton Key a while back but never really liked the cord handle it came with.I decided yesterday it was time to do something about.I had some spare time and some black paper lying around so i treated the Skeleton to some new scales. It fits the hand much better now.:cool:

Looks great. I've got someducci helping me with a skeleton key at the moment.

That is beautiful! Love the red liners! I have some micarta right here on my desk for mine, but have yet to get out and put it on...thanks for inspiring me! :D

Nice work. The red spacers, and the fasteners make it very classy. I wish Busse would have done some spacers on knives with SS to make the slabs thicker.

Thanks for all the kind words Guys,..and Gals :) This was a lot of fun to do,no real skill involved, just time and patience.

This was the second knife i have rehandled, the first being this Becker 7 which took a loooooong time, all hand sanding here,no power tools other than the choil, the butt and the thumb ramp.

I did the Becker after seing some Mods done by Scott from Tanguay Custom Knives and another forum member here who inspired me hugely with his beautiful work, the extremely talented "soup_monger".
