Here's a picture of the new ambidextrous "Slim-Fit" sheath I made for the Passaround SJ (it really needed a better sheath than what came with it!)
Note that the knife is retained by molding into the talon hole. This allows a FULL and COMPLETE unobstructed grip of the handle.
It withstands at least a 4 foot drop, NOT releasing the knife. Yet, it is easy to withdraw when needed.
It's put together with screws instead of eyelets or rivets. This allows the user to fully clean the interior of the sheath.
Of course, the thumb push-off is included, so you don't give yourself a wedgie while withdrawing the blade.
It's ultra-thin for less bulk, to ride close and save weight.
The large TekLok can be positioned for straight up carry, cross-draw, or horizontal carry.
The one problem is, since Busse made or makes talon holes of varying sizes and locations, I'd need the knife in the shop.
I mainly wanted to get a picture of the concept out there.
