Hello everyone,

My name is Beryl Driskill, just wanted to stop in and introduce my self here and show a few knives off that I've made.

I was in the Knife Makers Guild from 1987 to 1996.
I'm part owner in a trucking co. and put in long hours there everyday. But manage to get a few hours each day making knives. More on me later....... Just glad to be back with ya knife folks -Thanks for having me......
Recently I started down the path of traditional slip joints. I've made knives a long time, but these slip joints are a challenge. This one is #7 - turned out pretty good but still needs a few bugs worked out.

(Todd Davison has been a big help with these, he's also letting me use his photo man BigAl. Thanks! for the help guys.
NOTE: I had my name upside down on this knife - photo was edited to change it. Some of my older work - photos taken from photos:) Hope it's OK to post these?)

On with the photos - Enjoy!

Thanks for the looks, have a good evening.

Welcome, Beryl! That's a fine looking Swayback! I like how you stamp your location on the tang.

And a couple more......

Some of the spots on the knives are in photos - these are photos of old photos I had.

Thanks again for the looks & warm welcome.

Beryl, all I can do is echo the words of my forum brothers here who have welcomed you.

We all would love to do one day, what you are lucky enough to do nearly every day, you are indeed a very talented guy, and your work is great to look at, so welcome to Traditionals, and with you making yourself known in here...Im sure you can see just what a great place this is.
Thanks for the photos of your work.
