HI
Due to new regs I need a new non locking Edc. Drop point, spear point, hawkbill are ok. 4" max. Slim single blade would be good.
70$ range. Do Case russlocks fully lock? I'm not looking for the
Spydy Uk.All suggestions are welcome.

Is that 4" closed max?

Are you looking for something utilitarian or upscale?

I'm sure we can come up with something that will fit your needs.

Something like this would probably be a good choice right at the 4" limit:

Is this for the U.K? Is the blade limit 3"?

consider a 4" stockman such as the Buck 307. This knife can be
found on E-bay and is an excellent do it all knife.

Mordi hasn't provided us with much more info to assist us in assisting him, but I believe, from his first post, that his preference was for a slim single blade knife.

Perhaps he'll come back on and provide answers to the questions posted above as well as let us know if multi-blades are under consideration.

As Blues says, A slim single blade, at 4 inches or under, hmmmm.. Oh yea, I believe he said "non locking" as well. OK then, it narrows it down a bit for less expensive production folders in the traditional realm.. OK, hows about these two candidates?..

If the boy has got a custom folder in mind then there be a lot more choices.. :D

I'm a big fan of the sodbuster pattern and the only reason I didn't recommend it is because it's not really what I would consider slim. It is a great knife however. I have four or five of 'em of various sizes and makes. ;)

Sodbusters are readily available online at various internet sellers and auction sites.
