One of the last things Darrel mentioned to me on the phone today was that he was planning on making a small folder that was really really thin and had titanium scales. He didn't know the blade steel he would use yet, but did say the pivot would have bearings. It would not be assisted since the thinness of the scales would not make it possible to accommodate an assist mechanism. The styling will be like a mini AXD.

EDIT: Forgot to mention it would have a 3 inch blade.

Cool -- I remember Darrel mentioning during one of our conversations that a small folder was one of the main new projects he was working on. Nice to have some more details on the styling and opening mechanism.

Any word on just how small we're talking here? 2.5" blade?
