All I can say is that I am impressed.
I have been EDC Sog multi tools for a while, I love my Power lock.
I just bought a Pentagon Elite I off of the exchange board, My first SOG blade. I can't believe I have been missing these!!! Smooth, with great fit and finish.
I really like this knife, but now I need some advice from some SOG fans.

This knife is just a little bit bigger than I normally carry. Although I am not necessarily a fan of assisted openers, I think I want to give SOG a chance to change my mind.

So how do guys like your Flash I, and X-Ray visions?

I know it is all personal preference, I would just like some general opinions.

Thanks!!!

Welcome to the SOG community, gkruty!

A few Flashs need a bit of tinkering and TLC to get them working optimally. Even so, they're incredibly tough knives. If you haven't seen it already, check out the guy on YouTube prying open a home safe with a Flash. Really!

I've never seen anyone do anything except rave about the X-ray Vision.

While it isn't a true spring assisted opening design. As you can see here, X-Rays open up pretty darn quick just the same, thanks to the Arc-Lock.

I really, really like the X Ray Vision.

Super smooth Arc-Lock action, ATS-34 steel, reasonably priced.
Only thing is I did not like the clip; eventually removed it entirely.

Still a great EDC knife and highly recommended for that purpose.

I noticed how high the X-ray rides with the pocket clip set-up, Where the flash has a "factory" low-rider clip....

Hmmm....Maybe I'll have to buy both.
How do SOGs coatings hold up?
