VERY VERY COOL! VERY HIGH SPEED!

I love it, much better feeling than KA-Bars, glad I went this route. What angle is the blade at? (for sharpening purposes). And what type of care does AUS-6 require?

Thanks sog for a great knife! (btw, this is my second sog, I have a X-Ray vision that I love too)

The SEAL Pup is a great all -around outdoor knife, without breaking the bank!
Without going upstairs to get mine, I'd guess the angle to be about 30°...???
One of the beauties of AUS6 is that it is very corrosion resistant:D . With decent care (wipe it down, etc.) it will serve you well. SOG does excellent heat treat on their steel.;)

I am debating whether or not this is a good carry knife, say in the winter time. Do you think its too big? or just right?

A carry knife for what purpose?

Under a suit? A little big.
Under a Gortex down duvet? Too small, you won't find it... try a Tigershark:D

The official line is to send it to SOG for re-sharpening...:)

I hear that many use the Spyderco sharpener with varying success...;)
Do a search on the Blade Discussion Forum, and you will get information overload on sharpening...:D

Good Luck!
Rob
