So after falling in love with the Southard and then never being able to find one they finally came back in stock for a quick minute so I snatched one up. Now of course I had to order a low rider clip from STR Backyard kNife works. let me say that this is a nice little kit. I enjoy the knife very much and Steve's clip and service are absolutely perfect. So now I just got rid of a bunch of knives here are the forum and now my edc swaps back and forth between my southard and my all black PM2. What a terrible addiction this knife thing is. Always searching for the next deal and the next thing that I NEED!!!

Oh yeah I also wanted to change the lock side insert to something else. Anyone know of anyone who is making g10 inserts in different colors, glow in the dark could be fun

I Finally snagged one through the exchange here, and can't wait for it to arrive. I picked up a Domino a couple weeks ago, and it will be interesting doing a one on one comparison.

^^^Believe it or not, it's actually called a lanyard knot. You can find a ton of YouTube videos showing how to tie it. It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.

My first spydie in 20 plus years. I took the scales off and sanded the thumb cut out and lock stop, plus relaxed the lock frame just a touch

Mine arrived today and I'm blown away with the quality of the F&F. I've found issues with every knife in the past and I haven't found one thing to nitpick about.

The size is perfect for my hand, yet the cutting edge is so long it makes my head spin. The bad news is I don't think I will find another knife to interest me for quite some time.

thx, Accelorator - looked it up and tied some last night. Giving a knife a new look is sure cheaper than buying new knives!
