New spec G10 colours

Thanks Silver. How do you like that red black g10? It looks really nice in that photo you posted. But other photos ive seen, it looks no where near as good as that. My 6 current has that colour but im iffy on it because of the variations ive seen

I'm guessing the color stays pretty consistent between knives with g10, but because of lighting and maybe other variances, the same handle can look different in different light. For my preferences, I think the red gets a little too subdued and in a lot of light almost looks redial brown. The orange and black or blue and black g10 seem to have more contrast and the color opposite the black seems brighter.

If you find my photos in the 2.7 passaround thread, you can see the difference in tone between full outdoor lighting and the indoor lighting.

EDIT: Nevermind looking around, here's a comparison :)

Looking awesome:

A little muddy looking:

Agreed absolutely. I wish the red popped a bit more. Its really nice in some lights but not when it appears that redial brown

It is the subdued red in the red/black g10 that makes it my favorite color for handle scales. Well, except jade g10. That's my absolute favorite. I think. …
