New Spec Ops Combat Master, Remove Plastic Insert?

Ok, at first I thought I was retarded trying to remove the plastic knife mold. All the images show a screw. But the one I ordered (Combat Master Short) has NO screw. And I read some more, this is the new design and it doesn't appear it can be removed. What?? That's one of the reasons I bought it.

Any thoughts, am I missing something simple?

The second 2 are what I received in the mail. I think I'm just going to return it.

I bought a Combat Master sheath (short version) the other day and ran into the same problem. There is a piece of velcro on the back of the insert holding it in the sheath--just slip a ruler behind the insert and it will slide right out.
