Hello everyone,

This is one of my tomahawks. A "bird tomahawk, as I always say. It was forged from a hammer-ball 800 grams. Is 22 cm long and 6.5 cm wide at the cutting edge.
The handle is made of wood known in Brazil as "Violeta do Pará" or king wood, out of Brasil. "

Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

Very nice looking Hawk. I like all the extra detail you put into the head, and the King wood is beautiful !

If I get back to Brazil fishing might have to bring a piece back with me....

you sure are talon-ted;):D

Richard,

I always choose Brazilian woods with many designs to make the handles of my tomahawks. Woods as "Gonçalo Alves", "Guajuvira" and "Pau-Brasil" look great. But to get this king wood, just thought I'd use it for a tomahawk.
I figured the colors and designs would be more beautiful in a long handle.
