new spyder embassy

I dunno. I think it has to do with the smaller deployment hole and inlay - just seems out of character to what I'm accustomed to from Spydies (although I'm relatively new to it all, so... :) )
 
I’d say they probably put the hole there just for the spyderco “look”. Though I do know what your saying.
 
How about the Citadel? Does it look anymore like a Spyderco? Or, is the Spyderco look lacking in both the Spyderco autos? (IMO, it looks a bit more Spydercoish)

I'm not passing judgment or anything on the Embassy, I'm just saying in my eyes it doesn't resemble what I've come to know as the typical Spyderco look O.o

The Citadel does however. Non-inlay handle, bit more defined thumb ramp on the leaf blade. Also just noticed, is the Embassy bead blasted? Seems duller, and the grind angles aren't as pronounced (adding to reasons for my initial thoughts).

i think the embassy is a bit out of character but then so is the persian. the citadel does look a lot more spydyish to me. anyways all 3 are sweet
